Coronavirus Update 30/03/2020

With the ongoing threat of COVID-19 virus pandemic, the changes to our lives are unprecedented. We being one of the few sectors allowed to run by the government; it cannot make it more clearer the need for the motorist to rely on their personal vehicles during this difficult time. Some people still need to drive to get their essentials and for key workers to travel to work. After a week of closure, we decided to keep running as much as possible and do our part for the public. To run during these periods, we have taken measures to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. We will constantly be reviewing the situation as we go. Below are the key guidelines we request all our customer to follow:

  • We are trying to provide a contactless service where we can avoid as much physical contact as possible. So we request all customers to not travel unless necessary. We encourage customers to use our free collection/delivery service as much as possible. Please refer to our collection delivery page if you have questions of how it works. 

  • We urge all our customers to stick to the social distancing guidelines set out by the government and NHS. If we are doing a collection/delivery, please communicate with us beforehand where you will and want your keys dropped off and we will act accordingly. Customers visiting our shop we have posters in the shop so please stick to the guidelines. 

  • In this hygiene conundrum, we urge you to leave your car as clean as possible inside (disinfect if possible). If the car presented is very dirty and unhygienic we will refuse to work on your car.

  • We request you to turn off your blower fan before handing us your key so we don't get blown air when we turn on the ignition

  • If there are more than 2 people already in the shop we request you to wait outside on the forecourt till one of them comes outside. If for any reason you cannot wait, one of us will come and meet you outside.

  • We request all customers who are bringing your car to avoid "whilst you wait" service as much as possible especially if there is another customer already in the waiting room. We would recommend you drop your keys and come back to collect once finished.

  • We request you to pay by card as much as possible and avoid cash. We do not accept cheques. 

  • There will be no hot beverages until further notice. There is water available on disposable cups.

  • There is no courtesy car until further notice.

  • Hand sanitiser is available for our customers if needed so if not visible please request from one of our staff

  • We have stepped up our cleaning routines to keep our facilities as clean as possible. If you are concerned about any of our facilities please let one our staff know and we will try to rectify ASAP.

  • We will fully wipe with disinfectant all the areas touched by us after finishing work. This includes key, steering wheel, door handles, gear stick, parking brake, centre armrest if applicable and all buttons/switches. We would still advise doing your own wipe down after receiving your car. (we will not provide the wiping materials)
